When you get your car fixed. Actually you don't pay it the insurance company will just deduct that amount from the total bill and cut you a check for the balance. |

It is deducted from what your ins. company owes you. If the total damages are $3,000 and your deductible is $500, the ins. company will only write you a check for $2,500. If you can get your car fixed for $2,500, then great. If not, you will have to pay the difference between what it costs to fix your car and what you received from the ins. company. |
