Yes, they would definitely be able to claim insurance.

Most UK life policies will pay out if death was as a result of 'acts of god'

Joe the Expert
As long as you purchased an Individual Life Policy you will get paid no matter how you die.

If you purchased it through your credit card company or some other bank service you may Not get paid for that at many other situations.

In fact if you own an Individual Life Policy for 2 years or more & then you commit suicide you family will get paid. You must own it for 2 years, if you don't, you would have killed yourself for nothing!

A good place to go & get Life Quotes online, get advice and buy an Individual Life Policy is the following:

I am not quite sure but i think so because insurance also covers accidental death and insurance is supposed to cover the unplanned for and the unexpected and damn if they dont we need to raise hell.

.......Yep the insurance company pays out, because the idea of life insurance is to assist the person(s) you are leaving behind, due to your inability to provide for them.

you'll have to read the fine print for that.... maybe they have a provision for that too...

Yes, the life policy will pay out. Usually the only exclusions are for suicide during the first year. Some companies have exclusions on suicide for the first 2 years.

Also, on buildings and contents many "acts of god" are covered. But again there are some exclusions in the policy and would differ from company to company.

I'm sure you can unless it is somehow through your own recklessness
