If your auto policy EXCLUDES non listed drivers...the answer is no. If your auto policy states an insured person is one driving your vehicle with your permission, then coverage COULD apply, but there may be a step down clause for liability. If your auto policy is a named driver policy, there is no coverage.
You need to read your policy and discuss this with the claims rep when you file the claim. FYI...get your friends insurance info too in the event you need it, as that policy may come into play as well. |

In my state insurance follows the car so insurance would still cover as long as she was a permissive driver. I think it is that way in most states |

unless they were committing a crime while using the auto, then yes it will cover the damage. |

That depends...Tell your friend to check her policy...I know many cover the driver, not the car, if so, it will be OK...Check your policy as well, just in case... |

the best bet is to check w/ your agent or the claims dept from your company. policies differ from company to company and state to state.
if your friend is a licensed driver who was driving the vehicle w/ your permission, it would most likely be covered w/ no issues.
also, the reason that your friend was using the car might have an effect on which company is primary. ex: friends car is broken down or otherwise not roadworthy...
reading and understanding your policy can be confusing. better let your agent and/or claims dept make that call. after all, thats what you pay them for... |

It depends on your coverage. My car insurance covers any licensed driver over the age of 25. Some do not. |

Your insurance may cover if your policy allows for "occasional" drivers. However, your friend will have to meet whatever restrictions your policy has on occasional drivers. For instance, many policies will restrict occasional drivers to those over age 25. |

That depends on your policy, your friend, and the circumstances of the accident!
You'll have to call your agent to be sure. |
