No, you have to purchase what is called a termite bond to "insure" your home againist termites. You can purchase it throught a company like orkin or terminix in combination with pest control services. You also need to check to see if the bond covers just the structure of the home or its contents as well. |

The answer to this question 95% of the time will be no. However, you can purchase this coverage by endorsement with some carriers out there. I do not know anyone that has purchased it as it will raise your premium by about $250 a year on average. |

Insurance pays for accidental damage, not for things accumulaterd over time. So, if you have some termiteproblem it is not covered.
But home insurance will pay for COLLAPSE of building evenif it happend as a result of termite damage. |
