sillysillygramma | Individual health insurance? |
These are my health issues I'm currently treated for and/or have perscribed meds. Moderately elevated blood pressure, osteo arthritis, fibromyalsia, and I take meds. for cholesterol and depression. I currently pay $380 a month for medical and perscription coverage. I am a 59 year old female. Ilive in Fla. The coverage I currently have is too high and too many draw backs. It seems like a rip off to pay this amount and have so MANY stipulations. I need a name and number only for companies that can truly meet my needs. Otherwise, I'll keep this lousy insurance I have. |

Your premium is very cheap. Why does everybody complain about the cost of insurance. I'm not making light of any of your health conditions but if you really think about it. Is it really fair that you pay maybe $5000 out of your pocket each year and the insurance company pays mabe $50,000? All of the carriers will have similar plans with similar premiums. Its just the way it is. |

I'm not sure what the stipulations are that you mentioned, but the cost of your coverage doesn't seem too bad considering.
I know it seems like a lot, but I work for my insurance company (I have been at this one for 8 years now). You're only paying twice as much as I am for a group plan and I have sky high deductible and copays.
The health care system in our country is out of control in so many ways, it's bad for everyone. |

I am 59 male and retired teacher in Texas. I pay $450 a month for my coverage thru teacher retirement, and still have almost $8000 out of pocket expense. I have been a conservative Republican all my life, but these expenses that will get higher and higher will make me rethink socialized medicine... |

Hi, just thought I’d share there’s a company out there whose service helps people who are paying out of pocket for the healthcare save considerable amounts of money. Unlike regular insurance, there's no pre-existing condition restrictions, high premiums, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, claims forms, limits or anything like that at all. They can save you up to 80% or more on your out of pocket expenses for so much less than all the other companies. It works much like a Sam’s Club Card. They cover regular office visits, specialists like orthodontists, any pre-existing conditions like diabetes and pregnancy and even ancillary care and hospital advocacy. It basically includes everything you need help paying for. If you are paying out of pocket, they seriously can save you so much money without the hassle of expensive insurance. They have a medical plan as well as a dental plan that both include vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits. They have over 400,000 providers nationwide, so it is available almost everywhere. They are truly a wonderful company and are members of the Better Business Bureau. I know several people who have benefits through them, and everything they say about them is nothing but positive. It’s just crazy how much people are shelling out for their healthcare, so I‘m so glad there‘s an alternative out there for people to save some money. Here’s the link you can check out the specifics and providers in your area. www.everyonebenefits.com/40424269/. If your preferred provider isn't on there, they do accept referrals. I hope this helps you and you find what you need. |
