My wife has full coverage on her 2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition, and it costs about $550.00 every six months. Some other things to consider: (1) I live in Detroit, which is VERY expensive for insurance because it's a big city and Michigan has no-fault insurance, and (2) I'm insured through USAA, which has much lower rates than anyone else -- I'd probably be paying at least $800.00 every six months if I went through Progressive or Geico or AAA. Just remember that your location, your driving habits, and the rate of theft for that particular vehicle are all going to affect your insurance rate.
