yes it's her own fault. A ban, is a ban, no matter how the water is delivered / wasted. On top of her pulled "tripes" she should get a fine. |

I am not sure what a hosepipe ban is, nor do I know what a tripe is (I THOUGHT it was the lining of a cow's stomach) However, I think since she CHOSE to lug around a watering can, she shouldnt get too excited about suing anyone, just take responsibility for her own actions that caused her injuries. Sorry. |

Its's perfectly OK to fill a watering can from a hosepipe attached to a tap. There is absolutely nothing illegal about this.
All you have to do is carry the watering can around with the hosepipe running into it and you're staying within the law. |

A hosepipe ban means just that - you can't use a hose for watering anything - flowers, washing your car etc.
It is not a water ban, so you can use a bucket.
However, perhaps she should have asked someone to help (You?!!) if it was too heavy.
It is not the fault of the water company. |
