No. Health insurance carriers will only allow you to cover yourself, your spouse, and children/dependents (and in some areas, your domestic partner). Unless you're married to this person or gave birth to this person, you're out of luck. Sucks. |

dont panic if is say NO.. he is not ur family. man. and it is possible only if u belongs to a large group. social or personal. like if u both are member of an association( but all members needs to be insured), student of same school, college(again all), wrks in same company ( again all employees)... u got my point. sorry man |

I think, normally your insurance company is going to cover your spouse,children,dependent parents alongside you under family plan health insurance and group health insurance covers employees in the same organization.Now,what do you put your friend's status? |

As an individual, no. (If you're going to try to list them as a dependent - not gonna happen.)
BUT if you're a small business owner, it might be possible. You'd need to speak to an independent agent. |

No. To be considered eligible under your group health plan, the person must be your spouse or child or in some other way, a legal dependent of yours whose permanent residence is the same as yours. In some states or groups, a gay couple who live in a civil union can be covered the same as spouses. |

It is possible, but you have to lie. Your insurance probably covers, "domestic partner". Which your "friend" is not. It's possible but highly unlikely.
You have to go to the court and get an affidavit that states your friend is a domestic partner. And he/she lives with you but working temporarily in another state. Like I said, it's possible but highly unlikely. |
