Yes, it is fraudulent.
He'll end up owing the money anyhow. The insurance company will deny the claims, and then the medical providers will come after him for payment.
And believe me...they will be much less flexible in payment arrangements with a guy who deliberately tried to deceive them, rather than a person who tried to work with them on payment arrangements from the beginning. If he doesn't cough up the money, they won't hesitate to send him to collections.
It will come back to haunt him eventually, once the insurance denials come back. |
