Having recently got rid of the wife I advertised for a housekeeper. I received a letter of enquiry by an 87 yr old woman by the name of Humphrey. I agreed to an interview out of politeness only. When she arrived, she was a woman of great substance. I told her politely that I felt she was too old at which point she began to get into a rage. It was fearsome. She looked somewhat like the “Incredible Hulk” and her face changed colour. She bragged of once being an Olympic shot putter and, to prove her strength, proceeded to lift my writing bureau (weighing 180 lb) with one hand and then released it from a height that caused considerable damage.
It was at this point I was in fear of my life. She stormed out of the room saying she would “get” me and “you’ll be sorry”.
Am I likely to face discrimination procedures as a result of this?

Avitar ItsMe: Thank you for your answer. She did have a full interview in which she also revealed a liking for gin which she inferred that she took from her present employer without his knowledge.
