I really like them. I've been with them since 1995 and they have treated me well. My agent always helps me get the best coverage and all the discounts she can find me. They also send me a dividend check occasionally and they always send me a birthday card. The different agents vary, so do your homework on that...maybe get a reference in your area of what State Farm agent they use. Good luck! |

~~State Farm is always my recommendation for an insurance company. They are simple to deal with, very fast and efficient and really make your life easier in problem situations. We have had them since the 70's when I first got car insurance and I have never had one problem or complaint. My whole family uses them, and now so do our kids. You never appreciate the importance of great insurance until you have a major catastrophe, and you are forever thankful when when it is handled quickly and efficiently. They really look out for their clients!~~ |

I have had nothing but bad dealings with state farm. I like nationwide. They are so much better. They also give us discounts for not having accidents. The only company worse is AIG. They will flat out lie to you just to get money. |

Very good. Very prompt claims service. Not necessarily the least expensive, but usually quite competitive. They tend to avoid higher risk clients, however. |

Yes, they write the most personal insurance policies in the USA, and have the lowest percentage of complaints. My personal insurance is with them. |

I had them for renter's insurance awhile back. Never filed a claim and never really had an issue with them. The agent didn't really try to get to know me or try to sell me anything else. However, they always sent correspondence to my wife instead of me and she was not on the policy. |
