Most companies ask if the wiring, HVAC, plumbing, and roof, have been updated or replaced, if the home is 50 years old. It does not necessary mean they will not write it after inspecting it. Usually they will give you a discount if it has been updated completely. |

Alot of companies don't even ask about how old your wiring is. I've been an agent for 2 1/2 years in TX and have never had that come up. I sell policies every day to people whose houses were built then. Just browse around for quotes. |
