I recieved a check for $2,194.00, from the Authentic claims, Inc. It says I am to send the check to cover taxes, surcharges, and insurance on the winnings. Then they will transfer funds of
$54,000.00 to my designated account. Is this on the level or a

I would persoanlly call it a scam - clearly they are asking for money before any exchanges take place - ON WINNINGS!!??
Please don't be tempted to send money - if this is a genuine win then perhaps you should contact them requesting that the money is placed into your account and any monies owing will be taken from that.....I bet you won't hear from them again.
Its hard to believe people do these things but, sadly, the reason it is done is because people believe in it and the con-artists make a fortune.....you will end up not winning Ginny but losing!. |

I received one also. guess we'll find out monday. the co on my check is from SCOTT Powerline & Utility EQ. its a real place of business. The return address on the header is located in the same building as the Sacramento courthouse. they are not asking for any money and supplying the funds necessary to cover any charges so who knows maybe for real guess will find out monday:) |
