Isnt it bullshit about women paying less for insurance?
Dont you reckon that it is an absolute ******* joke that women pay less for insurance. If anything, women are worse drivers than men.

And you cant say that men do more stupid **** than women like drag racing, burnouts, drifting and all that because ive seen plenty of women who do the same thing. Why should women be given more benefits than us?

Insurance premiums are based upon risk for the general class. It is a proven fact that males are a greater risk than females at a young age. As you get older it evens out.

With health insurance, which is also based upon risk, it is just the opposite. Younger females pay more for health insurance than males because they use the insurance more.

wow, if you get that upset posing a question on here, i can only imagine your rage on the road! wonder why men pay more...LOL

Saying that women pay more for insurance is not a true statement. While it may be generally true that they less for Life insurance they pay considerably more for healthcare that allow gender banding. I have seen rates 30 years old and younger where a single male would pay $90 versus $325 for a women within the same class.

All rates are based on data obtained by an actuary and normally reflect true claims loss history.

It is a simple fact that women live longer therefore, causing the life insurance companies to reduce their rate class.

FYI- Not all states practice gender banding and are sometimes flat between male & female.

Mr. Prefect
First of all, women live longer than men, and thus pay less for their insurance.
Second, setting aside drag racing, driving, etc., in your case, I can definitely say that a man has done, and said, more stupid things than a woman.

Insurance companies pay out less for women drivers than they do for men drivers. That's why the rate is lower. In states that allow it, that is - not all states allow gender to be a rating factor.

You probably think it's bull that someone with 5 dui's pays more, too. Or that 16 year olds pay more, too. Or that, for life insurance, an 80 year old man pays more than a 25 year old man.

The fact is, women have more accident - under $2000 of damage. Men total more cars, and cause more damage to other cars. The men drive faster, and more reckless. The women get more absent minded, and have more parking lot accidents.

Insurance companies group large numbers (like 100,000) of people together, and look at the CLAIMS that group has, and fix the rates accordingly.

If it makes you feel better (but it won't), your CREDIT SCORE will have more influence on your rates, than your GENDER.

It is based on statistics, once insurance companies start paying out claims on young women the same as they pay out on young men, the rates on young women will increase. It is simple business, nothing else. It is only young women anyway, once both sexes reach a certain age, the insurance is the same for both.
Now, women pay more for cars, car repairs, dry cleaning, and many other things. Maybe some are not as financially savvy as others but also, they get taken advantage of. This is for their WHOLE lives, not just for their first 10 or so years of driving.
Also, women get PAID much less for doing the SAME exact job as men. The older the woman, the bigger the difference because the % of pay raises in dollar figures are less so men's salaries grow faster.
So, if there is a single man & a single woman (after age 25-30 to take insurance out of it), all else being equal, the single woman will have less money in her pocket at the end of the week, is that fair???

Did you know that women pay more for health insurance and disability insurance? Why would you ask a question like this without a statistical basis? Insurance is based on statistics.
