Yes. Your insurance deduction should be a flat amount, and might include back insurance due. If you didn't work enough to cover that amount, then yes, they can take up to that whole deduction amount.
There's no limit that says they can only take half, if you get the insurance.
Come open enrollment, you can cancel the insurance if you like. |

Yes, if you wanted the insurance and didn't earn enough to pay for anything else they can take it all.
A garnishment is limited by law but not payroll deductions for taxes or things you asked to have withheld like insurance or cafeteria plan. |
