Liability Insurance - Car accident?
Hi you doing guys...

Well, let me explain this in a easy way..

I got a crash today, and the fault was mine, I hit the other car in the rear bumper so, it was my fault in any way..
So the thing is that repair my bumper and all the stuff is pretty expensive, so Im thinking in going to the clinic and take the medical treatment (covered by my insurance) and they give me 1000 $ dollars back.

But my question is, after that, my insurance payment will be more?
Additional Details
And by the way...

I only got a yellow ticket....but I don't see any price, I mean, how much i need to pay...

Thx

1. Liability insurance covers the person you hit.
2. Your injuries and damages are covered by a different portion of the policy.
3. Any reimbursement of covered expenses belongs to the insurance company. That means the insurance company can claim the $1000.
4. Your premiums will probably increase as a result of the collision.
5. Going to the clinic, or not going, won't make a difference in any rate increase.

That is insurance fraud. You are not hurt and just want to go cause you think they will hand you a check for $1000 cause you went in for medical treatment. It doesn't work that way. Read your policy better. And stop tailgating.

Not sure what insurance you are with which will simply "give" you $1000 for going for a medical exam. This is not something that you can do to cover your expenses. If you are not injured, you cannot fake it to get reimbursement for it.
The liability limit on your policy is to cover the second party. It will cover the bodily injuries and property damage (car) of the person you hit. Unless you really are hurt, and you have the Medical coverage included in your policy, thats when you can use it for your own sake.
The damage on your bumper will be covered if you collision coverage on your policy. The collision has a deductible, so whatever the damage is, minus your deductible, is what the insurance company will pay out.

Your auto liability insurance does not cover your medical costs. Read your policy.

Ticket doesn't matter. What matters is which state you are in, and how much your insurance pays out. So, if those medical bills pop you over the limit for a surcharge, yes, your insurance will go up.

Ask your agent what the limit is in your state.
