The first thing you may want to consider is your goal - Why do you need life insurance? What are you trying to accomplish with your policy?
Do you have anyone who relies on your for financial support? Do you have any outstanding debt? Do you want to pay for your final expenses? Do you want to leave money to someone?
Then, you may want to consider how much life insurance you need, how long you need life insurance, what you can afford, and what type of life insurance you need.
You can learn about life insurance at the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education at www.lifehappens.org They have tips, articles, and videos to help you learn about life insurance.
Best of luck to you.

Unless you have children, or a mortgage with someone I would say don't bother. Its money that could be spent elsewhere.
Nutty Nut
You only want life insurance if someone depends on you for support.
God's Gift
if u have a child...or a partner/wife or a mortgage, then yeah life insurance could be something to sort out asap
go n check out a bank or building society...n just ask an advisor
if those 3 things aint ur current situation u may want to checkout income protection instead...so if u cant earn moeny through some form of unemployment or sickness or accident...then u may be covered
ask n they will get u sat down...n see whats better suitted to u
dont ever sign anythign right away, they will want u to sig up to secure the sale
