They check different enzymes, lipids, proteins, blood sugar, and so on to make sure your internal organs are working fine and you aren't at risk for any unforeseen illnesses. They also test for different chemicals your body makes when it breaks down nicotine and other drugs. Each company could order slightly different tests, so it's hard to say exactly. At the end of the process, you should be given the opportunity to see your results. It's usually about a page and a half of information.
If you have concerns about the tests, talk with your agent or try to be more specific here. The first answerer should either try with a better experienced insurance broker or acknowledge they have a potentially life-threatening condition. |
