I never suggest that suicide is the answer... it is a long term sollution to a very short term problem.
That being said, most insurance companies do not cover suicide in the first two years of the policy... some don't after two years, and some do after two years... again I don't suggest that anyone kills themself for anyreason, but you may want to look at the provisions of your policy to double check.
Again suicide is a LONG term answer to a SHORT term problem... I would have to go with aaron p on this one and say get yourself check out by a theropist if you really have questions about this. |

You would have to read your policy to be sure. If your unsure after reading it, it's probably a safer bet to seek counseling instead of killing yourself. |

DON'T DO IT!! Go check yourself into a hospital and they will put you on anti depressants and get you stable. |

Life insurance policies DO cover in case of suicide. I have never seen one that didn't, but I would read the fine print just to make sure. |

Many policies have a waiting period before it will cover suicide. I think two years is about average. It depends on the policy but most will not pay if the suicide is close to the activation date. |

Look at the Exclusions in the policy. The company that I work for will pay out on suicide as long as the policy has been in force for at least two years. |

Depends on the company and state laws however there is usually a waiting period before suicide will be covered, usually 1 year. |

A lot of them do pay off in the case of a suicide but only after a waiting period of a year or so. Like if the policy was taken out in May 2005 it would only cover a suicide if that happened in May of 2006 or after. |

The Spouse will Not receive any Life inc if the other spouse committed suicide. We had a Good friend committed suicide a few yrs ago and his wife got no Life inc she had to end up selling her house cars and everything else.I say that the Living spouse should get half of the life inc. |

Sometimes. If the policy is still in the contestable stage, it's definately not covered. If the policy isn't contestable, there STILL might be a flat out suicide exclusion on it.
So it's up to the policy, and how long it's been in force. |
