Life insurance & suicide?
I know that they don't have to pay if it's within 2 years of purchase. But I have had one for ten years and my husband is the beneficiary. Would he still get that one if my death was a suicide? No, I don't need help...I'm just curious. so please
there are a lot of different life insurance policies; a normal policy will most likely just have the two year window of incontestability; however if you have an accidental death and dismemberment policy; it will not. Have your agent or HR person look it over.

i work for a large, popular insurance company and our life insurance policy does not cover suicide.

Please don't croak yourself. That said, you would need to read the policy. A lot of times life insurance policies are uncontestable after a period of time and likely do cover suicide if it occurs after the initial 2 year "waiting period". You are worth more to your family alive. If you are contemplating suicide, talk to someone please.

yes, it will. there is a section in your policy that explains the suicide clause. don't do it !!! j/k
