You might get some counseling. Either for you personally or for some kind of job counseling. Sit down with someone and go over what you do with them. Try to figure out what your doing right and what your doing wrong.
I am not in expert in this area.

Visit your nearest ICICI bank branch and take notes of how they manage to sell even useless financial products that help only themselves... LOL
No honestly! You need to take it more easy to begin with. Find out the high points of the product you are selling, and find out your clients requirements, than try and fit the two together and you have a sale. Ofcourse you will probably go to hell for acts of omission or commission, i.e. not being truthful about the negative aspects of your products, and lying about some of their benefits. |

for the last 2 months the insurance industry is dull. but that does not matter as the company is paying salary to you and you are the arm of the company to grab business. as a sales manager you are doing business through your advisors/agents. in many cases they turned to be not successful. you have to educate them, motivate them, but unfortunately you may be searching how to avoid his training programmes, how to get him passed the irda exam, etc. this will end up in loss of business as he will not be possible to answer the questions of the customer. similarly he will not be prepared for a class room training. so be with each agent and try to educate him , go with him to maximum number of clients. you should also learn more to answer his questions. |

Analise the factors change during these 3-4 months. Either cheap & best product has came in the market and substituted your product, or you are not update with product knowledge. If all factors remains same and sales goes down, it may be due to economic conditions prevailing in the country. This phase will over soon. Stay connected with your clients. Festival/pooja season will recover your loss. |
