The insurance industry is EXTREMELY conservative - most of the coworkers and supervisors would care a whole bunch.
Unless you're targeting an "alternative lifestyle" type of clientele, the salesperson should avoid this like the plague - because the alternative lifestyle client will be the ONLY one who accepts this type of appearance from an insurance professional. |

I wouldn't push it mister. That is something that might make people wonder what you are and alot of people feel funny about doing business with funny guys. Now you might like to try pedicures. they are worth the time of day if you've had a long and hard day on the feet or your shoes aren't being kind to you. other than that I wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole. hope this helps.

I think that your customers would not care, but your boss likely will. That could actually make you more popular with the customers, especial the ladies. The guys may not be too thrilled about it, but they would remember you. |

heck YES. as an insurance advisor with over 15yrs in the business, first impressions mean everything...not everyone would be phased by his nails, but i'd be willing to bet that the vast majority would.
