I moved last year so I can tell you from my experience, the only charity I could get to come out and make a pick up of large items, was Salvation Army. I tried Good Will but they said they don't pick up anymore.
All of the rest of them that I called also made you bring the stuff to them. Since I had several large items like a refrigerator, that was next to impossible for me to do. I used Salvation Army. They have an 800 number you can call to schedule pick-ups. 1-800-95-TRUCK. They will give you a receipt for tax purposes. |
