My 12 year old was hit by truck does he get to withdraw any money from bank?

♄myboys
He can if he has a bank account. Is he ok? Are you wondering if you can sue for money? Absolutely! Go for it! Your son's health depends on it!

Ahwell
Yes, a truckload.

Your question doesn't make any sense. What are you talking about?

file a lawsuit.

Sue, sue, sue, sue.

Typical answer to any question regardless of what is asked. I am sorry but I am not sure what your question is asking. I don't see how the bank is related to the accident.

To those who say sue because the kid was hurt. I don't mean to be crass but what if he ran out in front of the car from behind a bush. What if the truck driver did nothing wrong. Maybe the truck driver should get a lawyer to sue the poor injured kid for negligently running into the street. Or maybe....as a society we don't base everything on what we can do to make money. Maybe we should be more concerned if the child is okay and if he will have any long term side effects from this accident. For the love of God.

I think you are asking "can my 12-year-old who was hit by a truck and got a settlement withdraw funds from the settlement?"

the answer is generally yes funds can be withdrawn for his use as living or medical expenses subject to the terms of the settlement.

There may be a structure in place whereby he can use some of the money to pay those expenses and then when he turns the age of majority (usually 18) he gets some sort of access to the remainder of the money.

If you are a parent of the child who thinks you can have the money whenever and for whatever you want....think again. It's your child's money.

? no.

being hit by a truck has no relationship to withdrawing money from a bank. They are two seperate actions.

Avenged Sevenfold chic
he should that is like really bad i am so sorry!!!!!

GUNNSLINGER
So your 12 year old was hit by a truck and all you can think about is money?????
