its not his insurance that matters. Its yours. Call the insurance company and inform them of the death and to make the appropriate changes to the coverage to cover the current drivers. |

Is the car still in probate and in the estate, who is driving it, what is it being used for?
If someone has taken it for thier own, they need to tranfer the title and get thier own insurance.
The insurance after death is still in effect but the insured will be the exector of the estate ( person taking care of dividing the estate) and is suppoe to be used by them only for work on the estate |

nope..call his insurance agent and have it put in your name...if you are on the policy. If your name is not on the policy ask how to get a policy. |

It depends on his policy. Read the part that says, "Who is Insured." This will tell you who is insured in the event of his death.
Also read the part that says, "Transferability" this will tell you if the policy is transferable. |
