It would be an extremely rare policy that would allow a married child to remain on health benefits.
I work on dependent eligibility audits for a variety of employers and insurance companies, and I can honestly say that in my experience familiarizing myself with dependent eligibility requirements of thousands of plan designs, I have *never* seen one that will allow a married child to be considered a "dependent."
Doesn't mean that it would never happen - just that all of the numerous plans I've seen wouldn't allow it.
If you want to know for sure what *your* plan allows, read closely the eligibility section of your policy to see how dependents are defined, or speak with your HR representative. |

I'd imagine they would - a married, adult child can't be your dependent. |

Every insurance company is different. You should call your insurance company and have them look at your policy. Or go to your insurance company's web site and research this yourself. Remember when talking with insurance reps. to document your conversation well. Get names, dates, direct numbers of the people you speak with and write a summary of each conversation you have. |

depends on how your policy is set up, but should be ok. I still have insurance with my parents as we had a family deal and to good to get rid off and I am now married and I have not had problems so far and been claiming like normal, so should be ok, but you should double check so you dont get any surprises |
