My former work place is still paying for my health insurance.?
Will I have to pay them back when they realize their mistake?
Only if they're paying YOU and you are using the coverage. Just tell them to stop.

Probably.................

It depends on whether or not they truly made an error.
You may be fully entitled to the coverage and just don't know it.
In that case, you are fine.
If it was a mistake...you will likely not have to pay them back because the product was already used and you have no way of returning it.
It's not like it was a car or something you can give back to them...the benefits were exhausted by you being covered.

They may have as part of their employment agreement a continuation of your insurance for a certain period of time.
However, if it's an error, you'll probably have to pay them back.

Possibly. Start setting aside the money NOW.

It all depends upon how long your employer is under obligation to provide health care coverage. Some employers are supposed to pay through the end of the month, while others stop benefits at midnight on the day of termination.
So, if your employer is still covering you, after the benefits cease to exist, the insurance legally is entitled to collect reimbursement for the medical coverage.
The company should put you on COBRA. That's a continuation of the policy. Depending upon your severance agreement, the company may pay for your insurance for at least part of the COBRA continuation period. But I would double check with them on this. Because if they did not mean to do so, they may try to bill you later.
