I need ideas, besides the obvious craigslist, ebay and pawnshops, of where to look for them. The police that responded to my call basically told me it was on me to find everything since they didn't know what any of it looked like. The majority of items stolen were jewelry and tools. Most of the jewelry had literally little or no value-it was all sentimental or heirloom type stuff. I'd like to get it back. Ideas on how to accomplish that?! |

Not really unless you had any pictures of the stuff that was stolen? If you did then you could use that to help prove it was your and to locate some of it. That's why most insurance companies say its a good idea to video take the stuff that's in your home so you can prove what you had in case its stolen. |

The important thing is that you're ok. What if they stole your love or life. Go to the bank and try to get a record of the things they stole. Next time keep all receipts and make copies or pictures of the of the products you buy and also try to insure them. I mean that's what insurance is for. |

put wanted ads up on craigslist or look on ebay for items near your area and see if anything pop ups.
most of the time its druggies who pawn things for drugs.
sorry to hear that, it sucks that people don't have the heart to not care about other peoples things.
I never stole anything in my life and it's crazy how some people don't have certain emotions.
maybe it's their brain, they don't have those parts there and it makes them stupid. |

Well you can go to all the pawn shops in the area
Check maybe in alleyways and stuff cause they could of not wanted it anymore or threw there
Check craigslist and kijiji and ebay
might be hard to find your stuff on those sites though :(
