Firstly im really for your loss
I wouldnt have thought you would need to pay a full year.. I suggest you speak to either Citizens Advice, Get a free consultation from a local solicitor or Trading Standards may be able to provide details of a contact.
Good Luck!! it doesnt surprise me. Just another case of an organisation being totally unsympathetic to your situation. |

Mention BBC 'Watchdog' next time you contact them. See how fast they sort things out then.
Good luck. |

I'm really sorry for your loss,
I would take as much advice as you can from a solicitor or such like. Finally, I would name and shame the MONEY GRABBING, HEARTLESS SWINES that have asked for the money.. |

Contact an attorney( solicitor)TODAY, not the General public where you will get many answers and thoughts that may just be the WRONG information. |

Sorry for your loss.
Unless it is a no-name company, it is very unlikely they have made a mistake, they wrote the policy, and they usually have VERY good lawyers.
You could keep asking them to explain it again to you, if you keep them on the phone or sitting in an office with you for more than £714-worth of their time, sometimes they just give up... |

Get whoever sold your husband the policy to look into it.
I do not totally understand what is going on but try the insurance ombudsman below. They should be able to help you, or explain exactly what is going on at this extremely difficult time - you have enough problems with your grief! At least they should be understanding! |

If his insurance was through his company, ask the human resources department for help. |

Get a copy of the policy and take it around to your nearest CAB, along with their demand. Their solicitor will advise you, free of charge. Good Luck. |
