If your parents own the laptop and are letting you use it away from home while at school and your permanent address is your parents, then it WOULD be covered in that situation.
If you own the laptop and have an apartment with your name on the lease then it would NOT be covered. You would need renters insurance to cover your belongings. |

Depends under which secton the laptop is covered. Normally such equipments are covered on roaming basis. You need to check the policy in detail and get talking to the agent who covered u. |

Yes, but probably only up to $1,000, and subject to their deductible. This is assuming you are a legal resident of their household. Keep in mind, the check will be made payable to THEM, and will be mailed to THEIR address. |
