No, do not confront him. File a Police report and report it to your Landlord. Do not try and handle it yourself. |

File a police report and depending on your police department's policy on this type of nuisance crime, they may confront him for you. You can also contact his employer. But, without evidence, there isn't much they can/will do. I wouldn't confront him, contrary to the bravado other answers have shown. There are worse things than losing your jewelry, and confronting a criminal can turn into one of those things. |
