Your collision coverage will take care of it.
There are provisions (illegal acts) that technically could exclude coverage (not pay). However, illegal or intentional acts are difficult to prove in court. |

I am sorry but I do not agree with the previous answers. That would mean there would be no insurance coverage for any person doing damage while driving drunk.
Your collision coverage will cover your vehicle. Your liability insurance may or may not cover the damage your nephew caused to other vehicles. Depends on your policy, the state, and the facts of loss. |

Insurance policies usually do not cover illegal acts (fleeing from police). However, if your nephew took your car without permission (theft),they may cover it. Call your insurance agent. |

Assuming you have collision coverage the damages to your car will be covered by your insurance less any deductible you have.
You might have a tougher time getting your policy to pay for damages he caused to anybody else's property. Check with your claim adjuster about that. |

There are at least a half dozen situations I can think of that would allow your policy to deny coverage - I'm not going to ask all the questions like, "is he a listed operator"? I'm sure some other people here are listing a few of the questions.
You need to ask your agent this question. AND, if he was driving without permission, you need to file AND PROSECUTE for vehicle theft. If you don't do that, then he was driving with your permission. |
