thought travel insurance was just to pay back flights and stuff if something happened, or to pay if there's any trouble with accommodation and such. Didn't think it had anything to do with your health - that's what health insurance is for!

The NHS will,but you need to fill a form from your Post Office and apply for an E1,11 then just buy travel insurance,not medical or limited medical,it will tell you on the form. |

Take a look at www.travelinsured.com they will take your claim and pay in 3 weeks. Your own medical coverage typically will not extend outside of the US so you will have to check your own policy on that. Also in order to get covered for pre existing medical you will need to pay within so many days (10-14 depending on the company) of the date you paid the deposit on your trip. |

You could try portwood's www.portwood.co.uk - you can get a quote online and then refer your medical conditions to various screening firms - as a broker they have access to several schemes and if you can't get cover with one of their companies you may get it with another one.
