On my Unemployment claim forms, should I list my actual employer, or its parent company?
I receive Unemployment benefits, and have to report all earnings on a "claim form". I worked for a company for a few weeks, but the checks had another company printed on them, the parent company. Who should I report these earnings coming from - my actual employer, or its parent company?
But also add the parent company ( like this ) and explain what it means. That this name is on your paycheck.
The more info they have, the better your chances of qualifying for unemployment.
Good luck to you.

Report for the Actual Employer. Though it likely won't make a difference, if they go to look you up, the Parent might not have you listed.
Andi, HR Specialist
Report the actual company who hired you regardless of where the paycheck originates from.
You should have received some sort of contract or paperwork stating the terms of employment. That is your employer.

Your actual employer. That's who the unemployment people will contact if they have any questions.

er..... that is hard to say, I would talk to someone from Unemployment to see if they could help you. Either ask someone in the human resources department of your actual employer, ask your boss, or get in touch with a case worker from the department of labor.

yes i would because if they find out that's not true they can stop your U.I

It's parent company. As these are the actual people who are giving you the money.
