There are many plans available with deductibles of $5000 or less. Visit a local independent agent to find the best plan for your situation since plans and companies vary by location. Many individual plans will have doctor visits and prescriptions without having to meet the deductible first. Also, you may be interested in an HSA qualified plan where you can save some money in a savings account to help pay the deductible. Even if you have a higher deductible the hospitals will work with you to make the deductible payments. |

There's a few out there that fits your criteria. Usually they come with 1 yearly check up, etc. etc. Also, may be cheaper if you don't get dental either, but that's up to you. Check out http://www.ez-insurancefinder.com they have different quotes and coverage from many providers available in your area. |

Well, sure, it's out there, but the lower the deductible, the higher the premiums.
The average $250 deductible family health plan costs about $1200 a month. I don't think you'll be able to afford that, either.
You're problem is an income problem, right now, not an insurance one. You'll have to go job shopping, and make sure benefits are part of the compensation package. |

there should be plenty of policies with really high deducitbles. they're usually only good if you have a hospital stay or other catastrophic event. |
