i do not have any health insurance and rarely do i feel the pain of that.I have a yearly visit and usually pay cash and it is okay. Lately i have had a specified problem and need to see a specialist. Is it okay or normal to get health insurance temporaily until the problem is resolved and then cancel? unfortunately many insurers have a 'pre-existing condition' clause that may make coverage for your issue a problem. check around though some states are offering subsidized or free insurance if you qualify

You really should have health insurance... at least a little. You never know what could happen. The problem I think you may face at this point is this is now a "pre-existing condition". Most insurance companies won't pay anything on something you were diagnosed with prior to your policy going into effect. Now, if you haven't been to a doc about it yet, then yes... buy some insurance first. If you haven't been diagnosed with anything yet, the insurance will pay on it then. Good Luck!

Check around, but I think you will find when applying for health insurance it is for a full year.

Seek a specialist in the Phillipines or Mexico it will save you a lot of money. You cannot get coverage for your condition and please do not attempt fraud you will go to jail.

Per my prior answer to this question, it's too late to buy insurance to cover it now. It's now an undiagnosed, preexisting condition.
There's nothing wrong with trying to get coverage, or cancelling when you want. But if you lie on the ap about not having anything wrong, that's fraud. And you'll likely be found out, when the bills start coming in, and the claims will be denied.
