Is workers compensation paying your medical bills? Are you drawing benefits for lost wages? If so, this is what WC is supposed to do. It sounds like you are receiving the benefits you are entitled to, so why would you need a lawyer?
If you are seeking a cash settlement for a long term disability and if the workers compensation insurance company is disputing that, you may want to get a lawyer. But, keep in mind, that lawyer will take his cut of any settlement. Also, if your claim goes into litigation, WC company can have their own doctors examine you and offer their opinion on the extent of any disability.
I'm not sure I understand why you are dissatisfied if you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to? |

The lawyer will take 30% of what they get for you, so they're going to try to do a lump sum settlement.
Are you happy with your medical treatment & lost wages? If there's not a problem, I don't know why you want to give up 30% of your benefits to someone else . . . |
