Seeking most economical life insurance for me & entire family?

I want to purchase life insurance for me & my spouse. If it's economical to purchase for my children also, I would like that option. Please respond with contact info such as website, email or phone number. I am in California. Thank you.

Go visit one or more agents in your area. The agents can help you with both the type and amount of insurance that is appropriate for you and your family based upon your goals and needs.

Frankly, there is a lot of information that a competent agent needs that you probably don't want to post here - income, savings/investments, debts etc etc.

Agents also face license issues (my guess is that they are tough in CA) and so may not be allowed to respond to you on a message board.

Keep in mind that you can own both term and permanent insurance (I do).

I would get quotes from three sources:

1) Your insurance agent that does home/auto. You may be able to get a discount on your home/auto coverage by buying life from them.

2) An independent insurance agent who can quote many companies. Frequently, these companies can cream State Farm, Farmers or other auto/home insurers on price. However, sometimes the home/auto discount makes up for the difference. Keep in mind that you only need ONE policy to get your discount, so you could buy the 'cheapest' policy from your auto/home to get your discount, and give the 'expensive' policies to someone else.

3) Ameritas Direct (Link below). This is a true no-load life insurance company. No commission is paid and the prices are lower as a result. To my knowledge, Ameritas Direct is the only company offering no-load life insurance. Other companies will bypass the agent, but still charge the agents commission. You have to fill out a web form, but it only has like 5 or 6 fields and collects no personal info.

I purchased my insurance using option #1 in the past, switched to option #2, and my brother used option #3. I can attest that they all work and are legit.

Primerica are all independent agents and some have broader knowledge than others just like with any position in any company. But Primerica has a over 100,000 representatives and if you check with the Department of Insurance, Primerica has the fewest complains for a company of their magnitude

You will find reputable companies at the Better Business Bureau and Primerica is a company that is on their system. Find the address by your location and see if they had any complaints in that office.

This company's business offers a variety of financial products and service to consumers through their nationwide sales force. Primerica and its affiliate companies are subsidiaries of Citigroup.

Primierca will educate you and build a long term relationship with their clients. Additionally, Primerica puts a financial plan for each of their clients. Other companies just sells you massive life insurance policies and run with their commission, but don't give you sound advice on future financial plans for retirement(wealth building).

If you are just looking for economy insurance then, it's best to shopping around. If you want to educate yourself with insurance and how to invest your money advice, Primerica will do that for you without having to start with huge sum of money(50k-100k) like most investment companies.

We are a well respected company of Citigroup. Any person that justify my good intent as a scam should submit claims to the Department of Insurance for investigation. I understand that I do not have as many posting as other ego bias persons here, but that is no grourds for ruling another person as a scammer. Talk to the guy that writes your auto and home insurance. Buying off a stranger on the internet is just asking to get scammed.

Term insurance is pure insurance - no gimicks - and the cheapest for just about anyone. But buy local, so you know who to complain to if you have a problem.
