I do agree with you in that it does seem a blatent form of sexism.
However, it is statistically shown that women have fewer serious accidents, so it's not really just a stereotype. |

Well, I can understand how you may come to the conclusion that the reason you pay more for auto insurance is due to sexism, men generally do pay a higher rate for the same age, vehicle and driving record.
The bottom line is that insurance rates are based on national regional and local statistics. Statistically, men have a higher likelihood of getting in a car accident. Also, men are statistically more likely to get in a bad accident. The reason for these statistics may be because women drive less, but maybe they are safer drivers. This is not what I have seen in my life, I think we are ALL bad drivers at one time or another. However, what we feel and see on the road don't determine how many accidents men get in versus women.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. |

If discrimination is in women's favour it is ignored!
Women are not better drivers they are under less pressure to be anywhere on time. Work V school run. this is why, they are a better insurance risk. Great advert though. I wish you well. Terry. |

I wonder if your hatred of capitalism would prevent you from collecting a payment from a capitalist insurance company if you are injured in a car accident. |

young women pay higher health insurance rates. they also pay lower life insurance rates. they file more health claims but live longer. it's all numbers and probabilities.
women buy wedding dresses, men rent tuxedos. that's not fair either, but that's the way it is. |

Come on get a life! it's an advert and if you think the women who play these parts are the weaker sex think again.
The general public is obsessed with political correctness when will people see an advert for being just that!! Everything has to analysed, assessed and picked apart as if it was a conspiracy.
Really the world would be a better place if people just lived their lives without thinking that there's a media Mogul looking to rob them of their spirit!! |

We are so blinded by political correctness nowadays that real life is forgotten.
Women are a better risk to insurance companies than men so why shouldn't they get better rates?

discrimination has no thing to do about it.
the difference in rates is based on the numbers. the company accepts ur money base on the probablity of NOT paying out.
u want equal rates expect to pay even higher rates. Or require personal responsiblity. |
