You need to provide your family with your enrollment documents such as a class schedule or a receipt that you paid the enrollment fees.
Once you are enrolled, many insurance companies ask for copies of report cards to verify completion of the semester and to prove you didn't just enroll to get coverage. (this can be report cards, online grade reports or transcripts) |

Have your dad check with his insurance company. Generally an unmarried child is covered until his or her 26th birthday while in college, provided that he or she is enrolled as a full-time student.
Companies might vary as to how long they will insure a college student but at age 19 that should not be an issue with any company. |

you need to be enrolled as a full time student first. you will have to provide the insurance company with proof that you are enrolled as well. for me, I used my acceptance letter and everything worked out fine. a class schedule, student id, acceptance letter, or anything like that should be acceptable. |

If you are a full time student at any college, you still are able to be on your dad's insurance. All you have to prove to the Insurance Company is that you are a full time student. I just graduated a couple of years ago and was on my parents insurance until i graduated. |

Many insurance companies consider 18 as being an adult and as such must pay for their own insurance policy, not allowing an adult to be covered by a parents policy. |
