I bought a new car and got new insurance for it .orlando florida, i got pulled over for going 20 over the speed limit i didn't get a speeding ticket put i got a citation for no proof of insurance. i just got insurance a week ago and they didn't send me my new card yet and i gave the cop my old card . im going to get the new card from my insurance . can i go to the court house and show them i got a insurance card and get out of the ticket.

Yes, you can. usually the ticket will state how much time you have to prove that you did in fact have insurance in place on the date the ticket was issued.

yes. As long as you were insured during the time, all you need to do is go to court and show your proof of insurance.
For future, just know that you can ask your agent to email/fax your a temporary ID card to keep until you get your original in the mail. Dont ever drive around wout the paper.

so long as your insurance was in effect at the time of the ticket, it should not go on your record and should be dismissed.
You might have a small fine for paperwork, but that should be it.
