The main factor you should consider is to find a qualified professional insurance agent who can deal with any company in the marketplace that is suitable to your needs.
Since all insurance policies provide for compensation to an agent, you do not save anything by being your own expert.
Insurance can be quite simple if you view it as a commodity - the same as shopping for a gallon of milk. However, there is skim milk, 1%,2%, buttermilk. and lactose free milk. Which of these best meets your needs? These days, it is hard to tell.
A professional adviser will help you with honest counsel and will not require a fee.
You can get quotes for term life insurance quite easily on the internet, but those prices are available only if you meet the underwriting assumptions on which they are based. The actual price is what the company will finally appprove. The adviser you select will save you the frustration of dealing with the whole process of qualification and approval. |

To apply and be approved for life insurance each company has their own set of questions and approach as to how they view and rate your answers.
Most questions are the same on the life insurance application - but each insurer has their own underwriting guidelines for approval and rating of your policy.
Your answers determine what premium they will charge you and how much coverage they will offer.
First, answer all questions truthfully. If you do not and the insurer finds out, your beneficiaries may or may not receive the death benefit upon your death. The insurer has up to two years to contest your policy from the date it is issued, which means they can change the terms or cancel the policy, or deny a claim if you misrepresent your answers on the application.
To help make the application and approval process smooth you should answer all questions truthfully, be in good health and prepare for the physical exam if there is one required.
To prepare for the physical exam, check out these life insurance medical exam tips at http://www.term-life-online.com/life-insurance-medical-exam-tips.html
You also have the option of buying life insurance with no medical exam required. This type of coverage is usually more expensive. However, if you qualify (just answer a few health questions) you may be able to start your policy today. And, there is no physical exam required. To learn more and request a quote for term life insurance no exam required - visit http://www.term-life-online.com/term-life-insurance-no-exam.html
I hope that helps! Best of luck to you in applying and getting approved for your life insurance policy.
Depending on your age, term life insurance may give you the most coverage at the lowest rates. Level term life insurance offers rates that remain the same for the entire period of the policy, and the death benefit remains the same as well. |

Make sure you deal with a life insurance agent with a company that does business in the USA. I almost got involved with a company that offered really cheap rates for term insurance, until I scrolled to the bottom and saw that it was a foreign company. |

They will look at some major things. Weight to Height. Nicotene. Blood Pressure. Life Style (your job) etc.
They will go through an entire list. Dont lie to them because they will find out. Any medication you are on the will check. You will give them persmission to check the insurance database to see all perscription medication you are on or have been on. Many pills are an automatic denial. But the agent cant tell you at the time, even though they know it wont go though.
Good Luck. Most people can get life insurance, its just how much it cost. |
