Total and permanent disability insurance?
I have recently had to make a claim for TPD on a policy for a confirmed condition. I will not be returning to work and that is the basis behind the insurance whilst in this condition. But it seems that because the condition I have, there is a chance/hope of remission (I sure do not feel like that is going to happen) which means that they will not pay the policy on that basis.
Is there any way I can get the money out of them or is this their right to make you wait until certainty can be assured?
