I used to sell a plan with Golden Rule Ins that had a 5 thousand deductible. It was incredibly cheep for a 30 YO.

Depends on what state you are in. If you have a good insurance agent, they can help you with this. But, find one that works for YOU, not their back pocket. |

A lot of it depends on where you live. Health insurance rates are based primarily on your zip code, age, and dependents. Some carriers also rate on your gender and your health conditions.
If you're in California, you might want to try www.InsuranceNeighborhood.com -- you can shop there anonymously and check out plans from carriers like Blue Cross, Blue Shield and Health Net. They're the best on-line agency I've found, but, unfortunately, are only in California at this point. If you're in another state, you can try www.eHealth.com. Their site isn't as good as Insurance Neighborhood's but they cover the whole country. |
