What are the 3 most common objections you receive when talking about life insurance and how do you respond?

Is this what you mean:

Q1. Why do I need life insurance? I am young and healthy and it seems like a waste of money.

Response: You need life insurance because you never know when something can happen to you.

Q2: Why should I pay for more life insurance than what it would cost to bury myself?

Response: The life insurance is not only to cover your burial expenses. The money will be there for your family and loved ones so that they will be able to live comfortably after your death.

Q3: Do I really need life insurance for my kids?

Response: Yes, you can carry an amount appropriate to give them a burial on your children. That way you won't be burdened with how to pay for it on top losing your child.
And here's an extra question: Are there different policies?

Yes, actually there's whole life policies, universal policies, and term life policies.

Hope that helps some.

If you are selling life insurance for a living.. I suggest that you get with the biggest most successful company you can.. because it ain't no piece of cake.. the commissions are small and the turnover rate is big.. now the three most common objections are.. I cannot afford life insurance, I don't need life insurance yet, and You have to die to get the money... The simple truth is this.. people hate life insurance salesmen.. When I told my grandmother that I was going to be an insurance salesman she said.. Billy.. do you know the difference between a life insurance salesman and a skunk lying dead in the middle of the road..I said..no grandma what is it.. she said.. Billy.. there's skid marks in front of the skunk..
I will always tell that story to the prospects.. it will help overcome all the objectives they can give you.. once you make fun of yourself and put them at ease..they will then listen to what you have to say.. if you have a good presentation that makes sense..then you will have a good shot at creating a client.. if you spent time trying to overcome the objectives according to the book.. nine times out of ten you will strike out.. I always tell people the truth.. and the truth is this.. most people do not want to talk to a life insurance salesman..because they cannot see the value of owning it.. what you must do is first admit that fact and then proceed to explain why they may despise you for being an insurance salesman..but they will love you if they need you...be honest.. tell the story.. and then show them why it is a good investment.. you will have fun and they will like you.. the rest is up to you.. good luck

#1 No Need insurance

- Everyone needs insurance, either they get it from the insurance company or "self insured". Self insured means in the event of mishap the money will come from the your pocket. If that is not sufficient spouse, parents, brother and sister can also be your insurance company. If not enough your spouse can borrow, or even get personal loans from friends and etc. Which way do you think is more efficient? Paying the regular premium or begging for help? I have seen many people asking for help, either from the charity or government.. Do you want to see your spouse, young children and aging parents begging for help becasue of your poor planning. The premum is only 50 a month. or less than 1 dollar a day.

sorry, i m tired of typing

1.) I dont have the money
2.) I dont need it
3.) I dont have anyone to leave the money to

you really can't do anything about it. Some people just have their minds made up about life ins.

JWH -- an excellent post. Very accurate about selling LI.

I find the objections to fall into one of four categories.

No need.
No money.
No time.
Not interested.

Well since I primarily focus on people who already have life insurance, my most common objections are 'I already have insurance' and 'I already have an agent'. Once we actually sit down, they are really full of questions about how the policies work.
