You contact your state department of labor and state attorney general's office - have them investigate.
Bad news is, this is one of the early signs of a company that's going to go bankrupt, and end up bouncing your paycheck. |

If your employer has a group policy, they should have given you an insurance ID card. Call the customer service number on the card and verify the coverage. If there is no coverage, contact the Dept of Labor and file a complaint. If the company can't provide proof of coverage, the Dept of Labor can (and will) force them to refund your premiums and charge them a hefty fine as well. They may even file criminal charges pending an investigation. |

Contact the Department of Labor immediately, and the EDD. I am not sure what state you live in, but here in California I deal with the Department of Labor and they are very nice, and informative. |

Is this for Medical Insurance? If so, what is the name of the so called company. Then contact them and find out if has paid any premiums for you. If not contact the Labor Board and the Insurance company he suposedly has, and the insurance commissioner. Then demand your money back and find another job!! |
