People did give birth before the invention of the hospital, and it's free. That's our national plan for pregnant foreigners. Get some tongs and scissors, you'll know why when it happens. |

She should do what they do in Turkey - homebirth with a midwife.
Or, you can pay for her hospital birth for her. That's what family is for, right? You're not asking strangers (me, my tax dollars) to do something that YOU aren't willing to do, are you? Pay for her birth?
There's no program that pays foreign women to come give birth in the US. Contrary to popular belief. |

Here is a good advice from a personal expirience. Father of my sister-in-law was visiting from another country and got very ill. He had surgery and applied for Medicaid. They paid for everything. Just call your local Medicaid office and they will tell you what to do. |
