Before making that decision there is some info you left out. In the accident where there another car involved? Whose fault is the accident? How long ago? If the accident happened not too long ago you might think about now telling the truth, but if this has been going on a long time, I don't know.
It is always better to tell the truth, as you can see that now. I have had a customer turn around and tell the truth later with nothing happened to them, but there is no guarantee when you commit insurance fraud.
You might want to post more info to get a better answer. Sorry. |

You can call them all you want . . . but even if you sue him, THEY aren't going to have to pay. They'll just bring your recorded statement into court. Likely, you can't even win the suit against him, because all the EVIDENCE - the recorded statement you made, the police report, all states that you were just driving.
They'll just say, now that you've broken up, you're making it all up.
What comes around, goes around . . .I think your lying to protect him, has screwed you over. |

Yes you can change your story. Unless you did a statement under oath (which is rare) what you did was not illegal. It happens all the time. Yes if you are injured you are due money, but don't plan on the adjuster to be an open checkbook, you proved that you would misrepresent yourself once, and obviously he may think you would do it again. |
