All participants are excluded in coverage for Bodily injury and sign a Hold harmless agreement with the show producers. This agreement waives all rights for the shows participants from suing or putting a claim against the show's producers for any injury sustained by them do to negligence or otherwise by the producers , Network and a thousand other sponsors.
In other words...you are on at your own risk.

Right. MythBusters is a SHOW. Likely they'll have SEVERAL policies, including production liability, trademark infringement, workers comp, and an equipment floater. MOST likely each policy is with a different carrier.
It doesn't matter from YOUR point of view, because none of the carriers will accept a third party claim. You can't file a claim with THEIR insurance company. You have to go ahead and sue them.

That's a great question. I doubt anyone covers them. Would you?
