there is no policy for cosmetic surgery. medical insurance programs will only cover cosmetic surgery if someone has suffered from a disfiguring accident or disease...and even that is very limited. i think you have to just save up for it, sorry.

If you have to have reconstructive surgery on account of an accident, plastic surgery might be covered. But then, of course, it's not considered plastic surgery, it's reconstructive.

None, unless it is medically indicated, such as breast reconstruction after cancer.

Michael B
Don't think there are any to my knowledge.

troyboy
you're beautiful just the way you are.

unfortunatley for you there is no insurance for extreme unattractivenes

Trish
No it does not unless you were in a accident then only minor coverage

Good♥Gyrl
No insurance company provides coverage for cosmetic surgery. It is considered an elective procedure, when procedures are done without medical reason.

we_build_champions
Insurance is by definition for unexpected events. Health insurance in particular is for medically necessary events. If the cosmetic surgery is not medically necessary then it will not be covered. This is kind of like trying to buy car insurance to cover having your car painted a different color. Not because it was in an accident but just because you don't want to pay to have it painted a different color. This is not how insurance works.

sandypaws
Having worked for a plastic surgery group for several years & prior to that working for BlueCross BlueShield I can tell you there are none that cover plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons. However, certain procedures are covered if there is an underlying medical reason for the surgery.....such as a "tummy tuck" can be covered if a woman has scar tissue from C-Section delivery or an umbilical hernia....Eyelid surgery can be covered if the drooping lids interfere with your vision. Anything that is for a purely cosmetic reason is never covered, although there are some patient financial options available with minimal interest. You might check into that if you'd like.

Pearl
you mean cosmetic Butchery?

Loollea
the only time insurance covers cosmetic surgery is when its required due to an injury, as in reduce scar or repair broken nose, etc

bullsfan_1971
Well, first of all I don't believe any insurance would cover that. Second, it would be unfare for an insurance subscribers to cover that, if you didn't have insurance in the first place!!!!! No insurance means you assume the risk!

mbrcatz
None. It's elective. Like saying, "who will clean my house for free?"
